As a marketing agency, we wanted to develop the most creative way to market our own business. We went back to our roots by utilizing the Guerrilla marketing method. This is an advertisement strategy in which a company uses surprise and/or unconventional interactions in order to promote a product or service. In the past QR codes may have been something that was considered unconventional, but in the current day, everyone has the ability and knowledge to scan one.

So, we created a QR code sticker that says “None of your Business” as the border of the code. With a catchphrase like that, we felt confident that it would be an incentive to scan. 

Upon scanning the QR code, it directs you to our website. Before allowing you in, there is a pop-up that reads, “None of your Businesses, Look THIS Good”, alluding to the phrase on the physical sticker. 

Our job as digital marketing specialists is to work with businesses and utilize all aspects of the digital world to help them thrive. Essentially, making their businesses look good. We take pride in creating methods that are specific to each brand and adapting how we work based upon what works best for that business. 

We were so pleased with the success of this, that we created a merchandise collection based on our campaign. The sweatshirts include our designs and QR code. Our sweatpants include the phrase “A Social Media Experiment” because that is exactly what our campaign was!
