MEET YOUR MARKETING MANAGERS

Sydney started Syd Gord Studio in March 2020 along with her full time job as a Special Needs Teacher’s assistant. When COVID hit and schools shut down, Sydney offered social media help to small businesses in her area who were affected by the pandemic. She spent numerous hours creating inbound marketing strategies, branded and rebranded, and created content for these businesses online presences as well as her own- Syd Gord Studio LLC. In August 2020, Sydney decided to not return to the school system work full time for Syd Gord Studio. Now Syd Gord Studio has it’s own location in New Bedford MA and has expanded her team of Social Media Marketing Specialists.

Born in New Bedford, MA. and raised in Dartmouth, MA. In 2017, Sydney graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. with a degree in Emerging Media and Social Media Marketing as well as a minor in Photography. Sydney values the uniqueness of every brand and is guaranteed to embody their niche on each and every brand’s online presence. 

When Sydney is not working she is looking for an opportunity to travel, going for a run, taking a yoga class, shooting film photography, and hanging with friends and family. 

Sydney graduated from Emmanuel College with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media. Throughout the past 8 years, Sydney has developed skills in media production, video editing, and cinematography.

More recently, Sydney has found her passion for digital and social media marketing. 

Growing up on the southeastern coast of Massachusetts she feels very connected to our local businesses and wants to see them reach their highest potential. 

Sydney has come to understand just how important social platforms are to a business's brand awareness and success. She is very passionate about  creating a vision that is unique, yet on-brand for each and every business. 

Work-life aside, Sydney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and trying new restaurants! 

Although even when not working, she loves to consume and create media, whether that be photographing her dog, or capturing videos of the waves crashing onto the shore. 

Rather than writing off technology, Sydney is a firm believer in embracing it!
